| Ross Solar was selected because I felt they offered a professional electrician that was properly trained and knew the industrial standards for PV installations. I was also impressed to know that Jason Ross was working with individuals that would make sure that the municipalities would establish the correct codes for this type of system. The incentive that was the deciding factor is that the monthly Lease expense was less than my average monthly bill from CL&P. I thought it was a good decision at the time to lease and I am still happy with this decision. | FYI - as stated above, our system was designed and installed to be a stand alone system not connected to any building, but to stand alone electrical systems and electronics in a remote location where a propane powered gas generator once provided the necessary power. The solar installation was installed and interconnected with the existing generator, but since the solar was installed, the generator has not been needed to provide any of the required power. The solar system designed and installed has been working exactly as it was supposed to.  | Installation scheduled for 4/9/09 actual starting date was 4/13/09. Solar pv insulation was completed on 4/14/09. Waiting for electrical inspector on 4/23/09 inspector arrived ck and failed insulation. Schedule repairs were scheduled for 5/5/09 finally showed up on5/8/09. Waiting for electrical inspector on 5/11/09 inspector arrived and passed system. Waiting for witness inspection on 5/15/09 utility witness approved. Finally on 5/21/09 UI installed the meters and Diana turned the system on.
I requested information and pricing for Sunpower Monitoring System, as of 6/11/09 I have not received any information. With all the aggravation and time wasted on my part waiting for people to show up I should be entitled for some compensation. Especially after the statement you will be up and running in 10 days after the solar pv system was installed. The CCEF also passed.
