 | I am very happy with result overall, great costumer service and fantastic product, the good thing is I have have called many solar company and I got 4 estimate but the sales man didn`t have enough information and just wanted to sell us something over size that we didn`t need it becasue we had some electrical issues that we didn`t know about them and here it is the fact.
before la solar to start doing the audit we were using close to 16000kw a year and when they did the audit and find few problems with electrical and changing some light bulbs we brought the consumption down to close to 14500 kw year so as a result we need it something like 7200w system instead of 8200kw so we save some money there and good thing was it was free for us since we did the solar.
I will highly recommend la solar to everyone, this company knows what they were doing and exceed our expectations.

| These guys are great. I had problems over the years with the LA Dept of Water and Power and they came through and did all they could to get their cooperation. As rules changed with LADWP they spent time with me and talking to the company. They were always there on my side and trying to fix everything. They are great. And the installation was great. This was done in 2006 so I don`t remember everything except that whenever assistance was required, they were right on it. | Worked with us to provide the correct size system on an unusual roof configuration. Entire installation was completed in two days. All personnel were very friendly, competent, and able to explain their work. Utility wanted the ground for the installation tied to the original ground for the house. Contractor installed the ground change the next day, and arranged for the re-inspection, which was prompt and successful. | We were very happy with our installer. They went above and beyond during each stage of the process.
The only note of caution I give those who are planning to install a solar system - Factor in carrying costs that will be incurred from the time the system is installed and when your utility company will allow you to be turned on.
Now that our system is connected... we`ve seen one electric bill as low as $ 28 for 2 months... that`s down from our monthly average of over $ 400! | We could not have asked for a more professioanl & knowledgeable contractor. In addition, the personnel were available to answer follow up questions in a timely manner even AFTER the job was completed and paid for. It is rare that we have had such a positive experience with any contractor. We would highly recommend them to anyone seeking solar panels. This company made the permit/rebate process painless & helped us every step of the way to minimize the time we needed to spend on these things. It actually involved much less of our time than we had intially anticipated (given the time we had spent on prior house improvement projects that involved permits.) | I interviewed a number of installers. There were two that had been in the business for a long period (many have not). I chose Ameco after meeting the CEO Pat Redgate. He was knowledgeable and straightforward and answered the multitude of questions I had. He did the research I requested and actually seemed to enjoy the challenge. It was a great experience. The system is working wonderfully and providing more electricity than predicted.
